Greetings, all, and welcome to my world! 

My art is inspired by dreams, nightmares, visions, and some sort of fleeting power that channels itself into creation. Drawing inspiration from the Surrealists, I strive to establish a connection with the creative unconscious, unearthing the concepts and emotions that lie therein. In this way, through my art, I am able to express and process various life experiences, including traumatic events from my past, as well as thoughts and ideas about the nature of existence. This often becomes a cleansing and transformative experience. Creating art in a free-form manner also allows me to access what is known as the "collective unconscious", a repository of archetypes, thoughts and ideas that all human beings share as part of their being. This can allow a unique sense of connection with other people through my art.

I have also drawn inspiration from horror, fantasy, and sci fi art, films, graphic novels and aspects of pop culture. In addition to expressing the unconscious, I love to celebrate the dark, macabre, and sometimes whimsical side of imagery.

I mainly work within the mediums of acrylic on canvas and ink illustration. Some other creative experiments involve making creepy dolls and other craft items. Everything here is intended to uplift the unusual, and create a sense of things beyond ordinary reality.
